Rehub is developed by consultants that after several years of experience in the construction industry has gotten tired of seeing new and old fully reusable materials
being wasted. We saw this as a major gap in common sense we wanted to address - but it turned out that it was not an easy task. There is no overview of which
buildings are to be demolished and who are the customers who want to use used materials? There was a need for a connection between supply and demand, and this is where Rehub's journey began.
Through interviews and dialogue with the market since 2018, Rehub has confirmed that the industry wants one place they can visit to get support to drive the reuse
process forward. There are many barriers that are raised in the interviews as reasons why good intentions of reuse do not materialize. Lack of information, problematic
logistics, uncertain risk distribution, questions about testing materials and access to materials are raised as the biggest.
